This publication is the third activity report of Kachin Women’s Association Thailand (KWAT). Twenty years ago, on 9th September 1999, KWAT was founded by a group of 4 devoted Kachin women living in Thailand with the aim of the empowerment and advancement of Kachin women and children in Kachin society.
Since then, KWAT has been expanding its staff, programs and has been active in Thailand, and on the China-Burma border. We are very proud and pleased to share our works in fulfilling the needs of our society with our readers in this publication. This publication is a compilation of KWAT’s activities from 2014 to 2018.
